Professor of International Security at the University of Birmingham

Stefan Wolff is Professor of International Security at the University of Birmingham (UK). He is an expert on the successor states of the Soviet Union, and has also extensive knowledge and experience on the Western Balkans, Yemen, South Sudan and Iraq. He is also an expert on international conflict management and post-conflict state-building, including power sharing, territorial self-governance, and transitional justice, as well as on peace process design. He has also worked extensively on the EU as a global conflict manager.
